Newsletter: email and, optionally, name.
Please do not send detailed clinical information or test results through this website. That information is collected at the appointment, with the safeguards that apply to health data.

Contact form data is used only to respond to your request. Appointments are not booked through this website. Newsletter data is used to send information about courses, congresses and news, based on your consent.
4. Retention
Contact data is kept for as long as needed to respond to your request. Newsletter data is kept until you withdraw your consent, which you can do at any time via the link in every email.
5. Sharing
Your data is not sold or shared for marketing purposes. It may be processed by technical service providers acting as processors: Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting) and Formspree, Inc. (receiving the contact and newsletter forms and forwarding them to Prof. Ana Catarina’s email). These companies are based in the US; data transfers rely on the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

You may at any time request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to its processing and withdraw any consent given. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
